Waleed H. Al Bedaiwi

Waleed AlBedaiwi has over 35 years of extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry and the private sector, covering both commercial aspects (business development, local and international sales and marketing, finance, and contracts) and technical areas (operations, maintenance, engineering, and project management). He has worked in various locations within Saudi Arabia, including Jeddah, Yanbu, Dhahran, Ras Tanura, and Jizan, as well as internationally in the USA (New York and Washington, DC), Japan (Tokyo), South Korea, and Taiwan.

Waleed has held leadership roles that required him to integrate technical expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership skills to strategize, develop, and achieve specific goals. His focus has been on streamlining functions, building teams, and establishing trustworthy relationships within organizations and with key stakeholders.

Recently, he served as the Director of Jazan City for Primary & Downstream Industries, a multi-billion-dollar project to build, commission, and start up the entire city. Prior to that, he was the General Manager of Aramco Overseas Company, overseeing sales of crude and refined products to Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. Additionally, Waleed is a founding member of King Abdullah University for Science & Technology (KAUST), where he later headed Operations, Engineering & Facilities Management in this accelerated mega project. He is also the founder and board member of various joint ventures in private aviation services and supply chain management.
