The Fourth Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Saudi Business Council for Southeast European Countries Held

Riyadh, 11 September 2024 – The Executive Committee of the Saudi Business Council for Southeast European Countries held its fourth meeting on Wednesday, 11 September 2024, chaired by Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mufreh, with the presence of the committee members and representatives from the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce.

The meeting focused on recent developments in economic and trade relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Southeast European countries. Additionally, it reviewed the progress of recently signed agreements and explored ways to enhance and develop these partnerships.

During the meeting, a proposal to hold a major investment forum by the end of this year in Riyadh was discussed. This forum is expected to bring together leading businessmen and companies from Saudi Arabia and the Balkan countries.

Moreover, the meeting included discussions with the Slovenian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and the Slovenian Trade Attaché, exploring ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. Plans for arranging a high-level delegation visit from Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Slovenia were also discussed.
