New Economic Partnership Between Saudi Arabia and Albania.
In the Albanian capital Tirana, yesterday, the Saudi-Albanian Business Forum was held, with the participation of more than 250 officials, investors, and representatives from governmental and private entities of both countries.
The forum witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Saudi Chambers of Commerce and the Albanian Chambers of Commerce to establish a joint Saudi-Albanian Business Council. This sets the stage for a new economic partnership between the two countries.
President of the Saudi Chambers of Commerce, Hassan Al-Huwaizi, stated in his speech: "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Albania are bound by agreements to promote economic, trade, and investment cooperation. The establishment of the Saudi-Albanian Business Council will serve as a strong catalyst for trade and investment between the two countries. We call for studying the reasons behind the weakness in bilateral trade and addressing them."
On his part, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mufarreh, President of the Saudi-Albanian Business Council, explained that Albania offers significant investment opportunities that Saudi investors can leverage through partnerships with their Albanian counterparts.
The forum highlighted the opportunities and investment environment in both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Albania. It also featured presentations such as "Invest in Saudi Arabia" by the Ministry of Investment, "Made in Saudi Arabia" by the Saudi Export Development Authority, and an overview of services provided by the Saudi Export-Import Bank.
