Economic Sector Contributions to Croatia's GDP

In Croatia, the services sector contributes the largest share to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), accounting for 61.3% of the total GDP. The tourism sector is particularly significant, leveraging Croatia's stunning natural landscapes, historical sites, and beaches. Additionally, the services sector includes financial services, telecommunications, information technology, healthcare, and education.

Following services, the industry and mining sector holds the second position with a contribution of 19.5% to the GDP. Key industries include shipbuilding and maritime equipment, automotive manufacturing and parts, furniture, textiles and apparel, metal industries such as steel, aluminum, and copper, food and beverage production, and chemical industries.

Agriculture contributes approximately 2.5% to the GDP, focusing on crops such as olives, grapes for wine production, various fruits and vegetables, and grains like wheat, corn, barley, oats, peanuts, and lavender flowers.
